For some reason I never got the hang of doing nothing with friends. Well, just sitting around talking happened a lot, but if we ran out of things to talk about? There were times when we literally spent half an hour complaining to each other that we didn't know what to do next. :/ I think this actually came from the expectation that if you had a friend over, even for a whole weekend, you had to spend every single minute doing something together. As a kid that was easy enough, but later I kept running out of ideas. Somebody should have told me about videogames ... or even that doing separate things in the same room could be nice, though of course I don't know if my friends would have agreed.
