Organisation: I has it
I just installed some new Firefox add-ons, learned how to use Google Calendar, cleaned up my iGoogle homepage and then added some more widgets to it. Over the course of the last few months, I have also changed my general note-taking and data-storing methods somewhat, and recently I've been working on finding better ways to keep my files in order.
As a result, I am kinda sorta starting to feel like a vaguely organised person. Wow. You wouldn't think I'd need to be very organised, what with not having a job or anything, but remember that my mind is a sieve and I am frequently confused. This is going to help a lot.
Once upon a time, I announced that I was going to write a software recommendation post and then never did so. Well, I tried ... it's just that some of the things I had originally meant to include suddenly started to cause problems, so I had to find replacements, got distracted, forgot about the post for a long time and eventually realised that I wasn't even using half of the stuff anymore by then. I still have an old, half-finished draft of it though.
Perhaps I could turn it into a general overview of everything I use and do to make interacting with the computer more practical and fun. If nothing else, it would be an opportunity for everyone to tell me how I'm Doing It Wrong. ;)
