I'm sooo tired today. No idea why. Maybe staying awake Friday and Saturday knocked my body into some sort of "OMG you're right! I forgot all about resting, gotta make up for that!" mode. IDK. I slept for at least 10 hours last night.

Have sent Daniel out to get my asthma spray now. Hope that works. IIRC he's been able to pick up prescriptions for me before, but you never know. I sort of need to preserve my strength for the flat viewing later, which will be hard enough as it is. Fortunately A's coming with me and it's not as far as the doctor's office.

I'm starting to wonder if the reason why the asthma's been especially bad during the last week might be that I'm allergic to the new fabric softener that Daniel's been using. I'm not sure of the exact timing of each, but it's the only thing I can think of. It would explain why my hay fever meds unexpectedly helped. And then it occured to me that maybe the reason why it's been getting worse in general is that I've been taking Aspirin on a semi-regular basis. Of course I could be totally wrong. Still, the Aspirin wasn't terribly effective anyway, so I'll try a different painkiller next.

MY NECK THOUGH. Augh. Whatever is wrong with it is wronger than usual.

Uhm, wow. So, that flat I just looked at? It's very likely that I can move in there as early as ONE FREAKING WEEK from now! Except I sort of can't because I don't have any furniture yet, lulz, but that's not as much of a problem as one might think. Since it's right around the corner and Daniel and I are obviously still on speaking terms, I'll spend the first few weeks going back and forth between here and there anyway.

I'm so relieved that I don't even know what to say. And although there was hardly anything new to see because it's basically a mirrored version of the last one, I liked it even better due to a few subtle differences. For example, the bathroom sink is smaller - which may sound like a bad thing, but it's actually great because I had been worried about it being too close to the toilet. I thought I'd hit my shoulder on the sink all the time, so I'm glad for the bit of extra space. Also, both previous tenants left the mirror hanging, but the other one was really ugly. And the walls of the bathroom, the hallway and the kitchen are painted in prettier colours ... unfortunately the same can't be said for the rest of the place. XD

I'm not sure what to do about the floors, though. They're plain wood and extremely dirty. Either I get lucky and find someone to borrow a sort of grinding machine from for free (I hear they're very expensive to rent) or I'll have to put something on them, in which case the question would be what. I'm glad I know a couple of more experienced people to ask for advice.

Oh Timo.

Hee hee hee. I'm sorry, but this has to be quoted in German.
T: Meine Mutter is' weg!
Ich: Haha, was? Aber ich bin doch deine Mutter.
T: Nein!
Ich: Doch, ich bin deine Mutter.
T: Nein, bis' ein Mama!
ROFL.
