Oct. 26th, 2010 10:46 pm1. I spent 18 hours in bed earlier, most of them asleep. Personal record? I think so.
2. Episode 9 of season 5 was actually good. Wow.
3. For some reason I've had "Morning Glory" by Oasis stuck in my head since yesterday. I kept having these sudden urges to listen to it until I finally gave in and downloaded the album it's on.
4. I blame this post on my allergy meds. The lactose-free version makes me feel all wooooozy.
5. Need a little time to wake up wake up.
Over and out.
ETA: LMAO I NEVER REALISED THE IRONY OF POINTS 1 AND 5 PUT TOGETHER. Oh my life, it makes me LOL forever. Ye gods, I am rhyming.

Oct. 25th, 2010 03:54 pmWoah. I just watched the five Doctor Who episodes I'd missed. And I know nobody cares, but can I just say, what a freaking contrast. I didn't want it to end. (Not even Ten wanted it to end, apparently.) So much fun, so much excitement, so many surprises. (I didn't quite know what to make of Random Bonus Jack, but ... ALIEN SPACE BAR.) Where's all that in season 5? I've already seen seven or eight episodes and the only moderately interesting thing in those was the reappearance of River Song. Meh.
In other news, I changed my profile text last night. Not sure if I'm 100% happy with it yet, but the old one had to go. While I was trying to come up with something new, I poked around in my text documents and found some very old self-descriptions of mine - copies of my GreatestJournal profile from six years ago and things like that. Good gods, my English was bad then. o_O
I was most amused by the one in which I proclaimed my love for spaceships and time travel. Pray tell, why wasn't I watching Doctor Who yet?! :D

Okay, uh. Within three or four days, I made it through two and a half seasons of Doctor Who, plus three episodes of Torchwood because curiosity eventually got the better of me. I have no idea where I even found the time for that, although it does make a little more sense if you consider that I've been up for about 32 hours. Yes, I'm going to bed, like, right now. Not that I'm particularly tired or anything - I could go on for days! Or at least ... that's what it feels like. :S Who needs sleep, right?
It's funny. I know for a fact that things had already started to get a bit weird at least two weeks before I became interested in those tv shows, and yet a part of me is wondering whether I'm lying to myself and would be able to sleep if only I stopped watching them. Which is technically a ridiculous thought because I clearly remember having had exactly the same problem several more days ago than three or four. I'm just more distracted now, is all ... very, very distracted ... I think I'm going to like Torchwood even better than Doctor Who, and that's saying something.
