Boo! Surprise! I'm alive!
Mar. 9th, 2011 01:55 amWow, it's been a month since the last time you heard of me, huh? Eventually they did turn off our internet, just as I'd stopped expecting it. I've got prepaid internet for about three or four days now, but after that I'll be gone again. Hopefully not for long, though, because I do plan on getting my own flatrate set up as soon as possible. It's just that I still haven't moved. >_<
Basically, to make a long story short, I got sick twice and could hardly participate in painting my own freaking walls, plus I didn't get my money as early as I'd hoped and absolutely everything is taking way too long. But I do have a washing machine already, heh.
Not having internet access wasn't so bad, though I missed being able to talk to certain people. Also, life without Google? Very impractical. Still, I had unread books and unwatched tv shows to entertain myself with, so overall it was alright.
It got mildly annoying when Daniel sold the XBox. I think I once mentioned that he was planning to give it to me, but then he needed the money really badly. What this meant was that suddenly the computer was the only device we could play DVDs on ... so almost every single time any of us wanted to use it for anything, at least one person needed to be convinced to give it up first. @_@ Right now it's not so bad because I'm in the process of fixing my sleeping schedule once again and get the nights to myself. And as soon as that's done, I'll be busy anyway.
